BIRD PHOTOS: The Hills Council hosts walks and workshops with an emphasis on living sustainably. On Thursday, October 26 from 10am-11.30am you can learn basic bird identification and photography skills in one easy session. There is also an optional walk. FOR WOMEN: Blacktown Women’s and Girls Health Centre, 6 Prince Street, Blacktown, has a range of groups and activities starting this month. Art Therapy For Connection is a free open group being held at 11am-12.30pm on Mondays for six weeks. COMMUNITY PANTRY: St John’s Anglican Church, corner Hill End Road and Cameron Street, Doonside hosts a mobile pantry, 10am-11am, every second Monday which offers low cost groceries to those on a limited income.
