THE RMS is warning drivers to slow down and look out for their work on Bells Line of Road at Bilpin, between Mount Tootie and Horsfield roads, which is expected to continue until the end of the year.
Bilpin Public School bus drop off and pick up areas are being moved, with temporary traffic controls in place. The westbound lane shoulder is also being adjusted, and a 700-metre eastbound overtaking lane being constructed.
Since July 18, the bus services which run in the morning and afternoon along Bells Line of Road have not been picking up or dropping off children between Mount Tootie Road and Horsfield Road. The alternative pick up and drop off locations are Metro Bilpin service station and the stockpile turn-in circle on Bells Line of Road, 370 metres west of Horsfield Road.
Work will be carried out 7am-6pm weekdays and 8am-1pm on Saturdays, weather permitting. Call 132 701 for more.
