Man with gun holds up North Rocks service station

Police are investigating after an armed robbery in North Rocks overnight.

Police have been told a man, 28, was working at a service station on North Rocks Road when he was threatened by a man with a gun at about 8pm on Thursday, July 14. 

The man left the location on foot in possession of cash and cigarettes from the store. He was last seen headed down Statham Avenue.

The employee was not physically injured during the robbery.

Officers from The Hills are investigating the incident.

They wish to speak to a man who they believe can assist with their inquiries.

He is described as being 170-180cm tall with a medium build and an olive complexion.

He spoke with a Middle Eastern/Mediterranean accent and was seen wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
