Aussie rules: Nor-West Jets destroy Penrith Rams by 24 goals

THE Nor-West Jets completely outclassed their Penrith Rams opponents at the weekend, scoring 25 goals to just one at Greygums Oval.

Jye Charlton-Brennan booted six goals for the Jets, while Jacob Berry kicked five and Nathan Beck added four in the round 10 clash in AFL Sydney’s third division.

The Jets won 25.18-168 to 1.0-6 in a scoreline sure to help with percentages come the back end of the season.

The Jets jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, with Penrith netting its only goal in the final quarter of the game.

Taffy Lewis and Brent Johnson were the Jets’ other multiple goal scorers, with three each.

The win was the seventh of the season for the Jets, and the team now sits fourth on the AFL Sydney division three ladder.

The Jets are level with third placed Macquarie University on points.

In round 11 action this weekend, the Jets will take on the Holroyd-Parramatta Goannas at Bensons Lane.
