HAWKESBURY Ag College’s first grade team had a 10 point victory over UNSW at the weekend, while Hawkesbury Valley had a 10 point loss to Newport.
Ag College won 20-10 in the top grade, marking the team’s third win in a row, after moving up to NSW Suburban Rugby Union’s second division this season.
In second grade, Ag College suffered a one point defeat to UNSW. The Colts were flogged 78-0; third division went down 28-7; and, fourth division also took a beating, losing 52-12.
Newport got the better of Hawkesbury Valley to the tune of 17-7 in first grade, in the Subbies rugby third division.
Second grade copped a hiding, going down 39-0; the Colts team did not fare much better, going down 41-7; and, the third grade team also was flogged, losing 47-0.
This weekend, Ag College will host Blue Mountains, while Hawkesbury Valley will travel to play St Ives in round five.
