North Richmond business gets behind World's Greatest Shave

CAITLIN Baker has decided to turn the profits from Saturday’s business over to the Leukemia Foundation and World’s Greatest Shave, after she found out the mother of one of her clients had the disease.

Miss Baker runs Evolution Hair and Beauty, and said on Saturday, she would charge only $10 per haircut (with $5 hair sprays), and donate the proceeds to charity.

“We have decided to participate as the cause is very close to our hearts,” she said.

“In recent times we to have lost family members to some form of cancer, and wish to spread the awareness and help those in need.”

She said prices for additional services would remain the same, but any money made would go toward the Leukemia Foundation.

She said three boxes of hair products worth $200 would also be raffled off, to go toward the cause as well.
