The team at Finesse Dental have had an extra reason to smile lately.
The Stanhope Gardens-based business recently won Best Dental Service at the 2016 Australian Business Awards.
It was awarded the honour at a gala ceremony held at The Westin Sydney late last month.
Practice manager Monica Seth-Sehmi said the award win came after being nominated in the same category for several years in a row.
“We’ve been a finalist at the awards for the last three years,” she said.
“We were excited to get the recognition for our customer service and quality of care.”
Finesse Dental were one of 10 finalists in the dental services category.
Mrs Seth-Sehmi said the business had to complete a detailed application about the dentistry’s work in order to be considered as a finalist.
“Because the awards are Australia-wide, there was always a bit of hesitation to enter,” she said.
“It isn’t a local or state award where the chances of winning are much greater.”
Finesse Dental first opened its doors nine years ago and has been growing ever since.
“We started off with one dentist and we’ve now grown to three,” the practice manager said.
Despite the award win, the business won’t be slowing down any time soon.
“The next step for us is to add more and more practices and keep up with modern dentistry,” Mrs Seth-Sehmi said.
