Police charged a 17-year-old male after pursuing him in a stolen car from Dharruk to Rooty Hill on Friday.
About 4am officers were patrolling Dharruk and Blackett, when they directed a motorist to stop for a random breath test.
They allege the driver stopped, then sped away.
Police then chased the vehicle from Popondetta Road, to Luxford Road and through Lethbridge Park, Whalan, Mount Druitt and Rooty Hill.
The driver lost control of the car near the corner of Francis Road and Willis Street.
Police arrested the driver, 17, and a 20-year-old male passenger.
Paramedics examined them before police took further action.
Police checks revealed the car had been reported stolen in Ryde more than two weeks before.
The 17-year-old, from Galston, was charged with driving dangerously, failing to stop when directed by police, driving a vehicle without the owner's consent and driving while not licensed.
He appeared in a children's court the same day.
Police released his passenger, from Hornsby, pending further inquiries.
