A 14-year-old boy was flown to Westmead Children's Hospital after breaking his leg in a motorbike crash at South Maroota on Wednesday afternoon.
CareFlight was called to Pacific Park by the Ambulance Service around 4pm. A CareFlight doctor and paramedics treated the boy at the scene.
The doctor said the boy was given pain relief to allow his leg to be straightened in preparation for the flight to Westmead Children's Hospital.
The boy, who was accompanied by his mother on the flight, is in a stable condition at hospital.
