Armed robbery in Kingswood

A man robbed a restaurant in Kingswood at knife-point on Wednesday evening.

Police said the man, whose face was covered, entered the premises in Bringelly Road just after 8pm.

He allegedly threatened a female employee with a knife before taking cash from the register and running away.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

Police are appealing for information and want to speak to a man described as Caucasian in appearance and of average height and build.
