Sporting license agreement

The Hills Council will enter into a 20-year license agreement with the Hills District Junior Rugby League Football Club and Touch Association for Crestwood Reserve’s amenities building and playing fields 1 and 2.

The agreement will start after the club completes $400,000 of alterations to the existing ground floor of the amenities building and adds a new first floor.

A council report says: ‘‘A precedent exists at Bruce Purser Reserve, Kellyville, where AFL NSW/ACT and Cricket NSW made significant investments that led to the establishment of a 10 + 10 year license’’.

The association’s investment in lighting for fields 2 and 3 at Kellyville Memorial Park also qualifies them for an extended allocation of the fields for touch football till 2016.
