St Clair High School damaged in fire

A fire has severely damaged a high school in St Clair on the first weekend of the school holidays. 

Emergency services were called to Endeavour Avenue after reports that a school was on fire at about 1.30am, Sunday, June 29.  

Police said the blaze damaged the south western side of the school which houses science blocks, the canteen and a number of classrooms.

Police have yet to determine if the fire is suspicious.

Investigators examined the school on Sunday morning once the site was declared safe.

Officers are door-knocking surrounding homes in the hunt for witnesses.
