Police seek driver after Woodcroft hit-and-run

A woman has been hospitalised  after a hit-and-run in a Woodcroft car park on Thursday night.

The woman, 40, was at a car park on Antique Drive with a man, 35, at about 7.30pm when she had an argument with the driver of a charcoal-coloured Mazda CX7.

Police allege the male driver accelerated through the car park, hitting the woman and driving over her, before driving away and allegedly hitting another vehicle parked nearby.

The woman  was taken to Westmead Hospital with fractures to her pelvis and remains in hospital in a stable condition.

No one else was injured during the incident.

A crime scene was established and examined by specialist forensic officers.

Police  searched the area and spoke to a number of witnesses.

Investigations are continuing.
