Find out about film, radio

IF A career on screen or on the radio interests you, head along to the Western Sydney Careers Expo where Australia's national screen arts and broadcast school, the Australian Film, Television and Radio School, will be ready to help.

The school's head of marketing and promotions, Carolina Totterman, said it was internationally regarded for the high quality of its courses, state-of-the-art facilities, industry teachers and the success of the school's alumni.

"[The school] has been attending the Western Sydney Careers Expo since it started and we love attending this expo," she said. "It's very busy and bright and it's lots of fun meeting and talking to the people who attend."

The school will have information about its new Bachelor of Screen Arts degree which Ms Totterman said was the most in-depth and creatively comprehensive screen degree on offer in Australia.

"This exciting new course is designed to prepare Australia's next generation of creative practitioners to be high-level leaders in their fields and will provide a deeply engaging learning experience that will develop critical thinking and creativity.

"The expo is a terrific way to see all the different higher education providers under one roof and also a great way to find out about the different options and opportunities."
