Hills artist Aimee Skinner is holding her debut solo exhibition at Bathers' Pavilion at Balmoral Beach until June 30.
The opening night for the Invincible Summer exhibition at Bathers was on May 13.
Ms Skinner said the night was a success from the start when her largest, highest priced piece ‘Silver Linings and Golden Petals’ was bought in the first 20 minutes.
Ms Skinner specialises in abstract expressionism and her pieces in this exhibit are a tribute to summer with ''all it's brilliance and beauty, strength and serenity''.
‘‘The colours and textures have emerged from the joys of years in Africa, awakening travels in enchanting Paris and from my love of life in Sydney,’’ she said.
There are 44 pieces in the exhibition and some are still available for purchase daily at Bathers from 7am to 5pm.
Her works can also be found in the lobbies of the Nexus Building in Norwest Business Park, Norwest 58, Cornerstone Financial and Xavier College.
