Good news, Penny and Phillip.  That sterling silver pendant one of you lost 37 years ago; Paul Musson found it and he wants to give it back. The pendant had been hidden away in Mr Musson’s jewellery box until last week, when he discovered it was inscribed “To Penny, love Phillip, Xmas ‘79” and became inspired to return it to its owner.  Mr Musson said he had found the pendant on a footpath in Launceston in 1980.  “I was just walking along a footpath somewhere and I picked it up and put it in my pocket,” Mr Musson said. “Not reading the back at all, I went home and threw it in my jewellery case and then I forgot all about it until last week, 37 years later, and I looked at the back and there was an inscription.” The owner of a hairdressing salon on Chevron Island, Mr Musson has been living on the Gold Coast for the past 31 years and is currently visiting Tasmania on holiday. Mr Musson said it would be a dream come true to reunite the pendant with its owner before he heads back to the Gold Coast next week.  “It’s been hidden away for 37 years so it'd be terrific wouldn’t it?  “I’d love the owner to find it and I’m hoping they’re still together - I’ll be thrilled to bits if we find the owner.”
