A global retail brand has an exciting opportunity for an AM shift Warehouse Team Leader to join their team on a permanent basis at their West Sydney Distribution Centre.
Your new role
In your new role as Warehouse Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring operations run smoothly and that all daily tasks are completed through effective and engaging leadership of your team.
- Escalating issues as necessary and reporting areas for process improvement to management, while always striving for quality, efficiency and safety.
- Taking the lead at toolbox meetings to assign workload and motivate team members in order to maximise productivity and achieve business goals.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in Warehousing in a team leadership role in a fast-paced environment, with a track-record of leading up to 10 staff.
- Always be accountable, looking to learn and improve processes, with a focus on safety.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with team members.
