Full job description

Your new company
Independent statutory authority supervising a range of organisations across the financial services sector. The policy division develops, maintains and interprets the organisations policy framework and supports supervisory staff across various divisions.

Your new role

  • Leading with a multi-disciplinary team a significant policy reform
  • Providing advice relating to superannuation policy development
  • Developing and reviewing policy options
  • Preparing briefing papers and submissions
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders on emerging policy issues
  • Recommending on policy initiatives
  • Consulting with financial services and relevant industry groups
  • Advising government on superannuation policy matters
  • Identifying opportunities for new projects and managing these effectively
  • Responding to requests for interpretation of policy, practice and procedure
  • Ensuring policy development is reflective of current market developments

What you'll need to succeed

  • High level experience in policy development processes
  • Awareness of emerging trends in financial services
  • In-depth knowledge of the superannuation industry beneficial
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and consultation skills
  • Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities
  • Highly developed organisational and priority management skills
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Demonstrated leadership behaviours
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
