This exciting opportunity is available with a well-known retail buying group based in Sydney CBD. The Procurement team reports into the Head of Procurement who is passionate about the development of the team and their culture
Your new role
In your new position you will be reporting to the Head of Procurement and supporting Category Managers with the ongoing management of categories across FM, ICT and Telecommunications. You will support the Category Managers in running RFx’s, sourcing exercises and benchmarking activities. You will be working with all levels of stakeholders within the organisation encouraging good procurement practices and compliance. You will also be building relationships with suppliers and negotiating directly with them.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this position you will need to have previous procurement experience working within a fast paced and dynamic environment. You will have strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills to deliver on key objectives. You will have excellent communication, analytical and excel skills. Along with the above you will also be motivated, positive and inquisitive.
