RICHMOND Fire Station conducted its annual Santa Run through Richmond, Hobartville, Agnes Banks and North Richmond on Saturday.
The Firies stopped at various locations giving kids the chance to meet Santa and climb aboard the fire truck. Santa gave our lollies and the firefighters got the hose out so the littlies could cool off in the warm weather.
A Facebook post on the Fire & Rescue NSW Station 082 Richmond page said the day was “a huge hit”.
“We would like to say a massive thank you to all the parents for bringing the kids out to one of our Santa stops this year,” the post states.
“The crew had just as much fun as the kids did, we’re glad so many people could take time out of their day and come get in the Christmas spirit.
“Although it was a busy day, Santa still managed to pamper himself with a quick haircut in North Richmond between stops.”
The crew also thanked “the wonderful ladies at the Country Women’s Association at Richmond for the rum balls”.
