Extremely hot weather greeted riders at Sydney Jump Club’s Autumn Show, held at Clarendon on Sunday, March 18.
The weather conditions saw organisers arrange an early start and finish to the competition, so horses and riders could get home before the hottest part of the day.
The competition was the second big event that many local competitors attended over the weekend, with several combinations also taking to the Camden Show arena for a large program of showjumping.
Glossodia coach and trainer Amber Fuller took out the strong 1.40m class riding CP Aretino at Camden on Friday, March 16, a great preparation for their appearance at Sydney Royal where they will compete in the senior jumping at the end of the month.
Other local jump club competitors planning to travel to Sydney include Melissa Blair riding Zidora, Tom Sutherland riding WHF Eclipse, and Charlie Kinder riding Renmarno.
