IN the lead-up to Hawkesbury Regional Museum’s next major exhibition (Food Bowl Farming, opening May 18), director Kath von Witt will present a talk about the changing role of kitchen gardens in our lives, and the historical background of the garden.
Ms von Witt is a former Masterchef contestant, gourmet cook, and enthusiastic kitchen gardener.
This year she created a kitchen garden at the museum. Any produce from the garden available on the day will be shared with those attending.
The event will be held on Saturday, March 24 at 2pm at the museum, 8 Baker Street, Windsor. The cost is $5 including refreshments. Book online at Eventbrite.
