Royal Australian Air Force personnel deployed on Operation Highroad as part of the Train Advise Assist Command - Air (TAAC-Air) completed Army’s Individual Skills Enhancement Training packages earlier this month at RAAF Base Richmond.
The aim of ISET is to significantly enhance the trainee’s combat survivability, force protection and team effectiveness, providing essential operational confidence and reassurance to enhance their security posture.
The purpose of the training is to ensure selected personnel are adequately skilled to operate specifically to their roles as Advisors or Guardian Angels whilst on deployment.
The ISET packages were facilitated by Headquarters First Division, Operation Force Generation (OPGEN) Branch in-conjunction with Headquarters Air Command.
