A Tasmanian Greens threat to bring a no confidence motion against the Liberals if they don't reveal sources of political donations has been swiftly brushed off by the state's two major parties.
Greens leader Cassy O'Connor on Monday said the Liberal's pro-pokies stance and massive advertising campaign showed the party had been bankrolled by the gaming industry.
"Whether it's a majority or a minority Liberal government after the next election, the Greens will move no confidence in the Liberals on the first opportunity," she told reporters.
"This election is being bought, via millions of dollars flowing into the Liberal party from the gambling industry."
Poker machine reform is a hot topic ahead of a March 3 poll.
Labor has promised to remove electronic gaming machines from the state's pubs and clubs by 2023 if elected.
The Greens and the Jacqui Lambie Network also want pokies removed from suburban venues.
A re-elected Liberal government, meanwhile, would keep the machines in pubs and clubs until at least 2043.
Premier Will Hodgman denied "millions" had been donated to the Liberals via the gaming industry.
"This is a convenience that has been contrived by the Greens at the very last minute," he said at Kingston, south of Hobart, while announcing a suite of promises aimed at boosting small business.
Shadow Treasurer Scott Bacon told reporters Labor wouldn't support the proposed Greens' motion, labelling it a stunt.
"We don't think the Tasmanian people want to go back to another election," he said.
A recent ReachTEL poll for The Mercury newspaper has the Liberal Party at 46.4 per cent of the vote, to Labor's 31.1.
In the most likely result, the Liberals would nab 13 seats, enough to form majority government, the poll of 3179 residents suggested.
Both major parties have pledged to govern in majority or not at all.
Opposition Leader Rebecca White spent the morning in Burnie, where $6 million in federal funding was pledged for road upgrades in the state's north along with $15 million to improve facilities at Cradle Mountain.
