A man has been arrested over a spate of break-ins at supermarkets and restaurants from McGraths Hill to Blacktown.
Police allege a number of break and enter offences were committed between February 15 and 18 at McGraths Hill, Glenwood, Kings Langley, Stanhope Gardens, and Blacktown.
“As a result, cash and cigarettes were stolen,” a police statement said. “A vehicle, alleged to have been stolen, was used during the offences.
Police from Quakers Hill Police Area Command were investigating the incident when they became aware of a 33-year-old man in Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
“Once he was released from hospital he was taken to Newtown Police Station where he was charged with 11 counts of aggravated break and enter, steal motor vehicle, and take and drive conveyance,” the statement said.
He was refused bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court on March 5.
