ABOUT 1000 people were at Richmond Pool on Saturday, February 17, as Hawkesbury Council threw a pool party.
Council put on a show for the children who attended: there was a jumping castle, water slide food, and even a dunk tank.
The Gazette has been led to believe Councillor Emma-Jane Garrow was particularly fond of the dunk tank button, especially when fellow councillors were on the hot seat.
There were also a bunch of non-water related games for the children, and perhaps some adults, to enjoy on what was a perfect day to head to the pool.
The party was an end of summer celebration for the community to enjoy according to the Mayor, Mary Lyons-Buckett.
The pool will be open until 8pm until February 28.
