Ten fire crews responded to a blaze that burnt out bushland at Marsden Park at the weekend.
Firefighters were called to Barton Street following numerous reports of a fire yesterday (Sunday, February 18) afternoon, arriving to find a large area of bush and grass well alight.
A statement from Berkshire Park Rural Fire Brigade stated 10 NSW RFS trucks were at the scene at 3pm, and were working to contain the fire.
Firefighters were positioned behind homes in the area, however no properties were under threat, the statement said.
An RFS update stated the fire was under control by 5.50pm.
