RIVERSTONE and Freemans Reach won their matches in Hawkesbury District Cricket Association’s first grade competition at the weekend.
A strong team performance from Riverstone saw the club top Pitt Town in the one-day match on Saturday.
Glen Jacobsen top scored with the bat, posting 50 runs.
Rhys Whybrow, Ian Gilbert and Jamie Uncles all scored 30s to help their team post a respectable total on a hot day at Richmond Oval.
Jared Dries did the damage with the ball in hand, taking four Pitt Town wickets. Gilbert took three, while Jacobsen and Dylan Whitby also took one each.
In the other match at the weekend, Freemans Reach was too good for North Richmond in the round 11 match.
Round 12 is another set of one-day games, with Freemans Reach and Bligh Park squaring off and Riverstone and North Richmond scheduled to play in the other match.
Pitt Town is still on top of the ladder, despite its loss.
