Three men are assisting with inquiries after an aggravated break and enter at a Londonderry house on Friday night, January 19.
Emergency services were called to the house about 10.30pm after occupants were able to raise the alarm.
Police were told three men forced their way into the premises after a female occupant answered a knock at the door.
The woman and her husband were assaulted. It is alleged the men stole a quantity of personal property before leaving.
The couple were assessed by NSW Ambulance paramedics on site, but no further medical treatment was required.
As a result of inquiries, police stopped a vehicle on Discovery Avenue at Wilmot. Three men were arrested and taken to St Marys Police Station.
Inquiries are continuing.
