THE Macquarie Towns Arts Society is running School Holiday Art & Craft Workshops for children aged 5 to 15 years in the summer holiday break, from January 15 to 25.  

The workshops are designed to encourage budding artists and give kids something fun and creative to do in the holidays, in a safe and friendly environment.

Monday 15th January

10am – 12noon Paint a Landscape

1pm – 3pm Make Little Clay Animals

Tuesday 16th January

10 am – 12noon Paint an Underwater Scene

1pm – 3pm Create an Abstract Painting

Wednesday 17th January

10 am – 12pm Make Pompom Kittens

1pm – 3pm Make Dragons

Thursday 18th January

10 am – 12pm Make Fairy Lanterns

1pm – 3pm Draw Dinosaurs

Friday 19th January

10 am – 12pm Decorate Photo Frames

1pm – 3pm Make Sock Puppets

Monday 22nd January

10am – 12pm Make Mini Monsters

1pm – 3pm Make Marbled Paper

Tuesday 23rd January

10 am – 12pm Make Jewellery

1pm – 3pm Paint a Glittery Fish

Wednesday 24th January

10 am – 12pm Pottery

1pm – 3pm Draw Cartoons

Thursday 25th January

10 am – 12pm Make Butterfly Wind Chimes

1pm – 3pm Draw Mandalas

Cost: $15 per 2-hour workshop; all equipment supplied. ​
