The vibrant greens the Hawkesbury is known for disappear somewhat in winter, but that does not mean there is nothing to photograph.
One of the highlights from winter was Winterfest, a medieval fair, held at the Hawkesbury Showground, which saw people from across Australia dress up as knights in armour or fair maidens and many other get ups.
Also featured in the winter gallery was Windsor High School’s colour fun run, Lousie Azzopardi winning gold at the World Skills Australia competition, and Reconciliation Week at the Richmond RAAF Base.
Geoff Jones captured plenty of sport as always, including the A1 Grade netball grand final.
