HAWKESBURY Council will run extra recycling collection services in the new year.
From January 1 to January 26, Council will run free extra collection services. Rather than a fortnightly pick-up, there will be weekly pick-ups.
Hawkesbury Mayor Mary Lyons-Buckett said the holiday season yielded extra recycling, and Council wanted to encourage residents to recycle.
