IT’S time to book now for Macquarie Towns Arts Society’s School Holiday Art and Craft workshops.
At a new location this time, in the shop next to Brynorms at 328 Windsor Street, Richmond, the workshops are for children aged 5-15 and are all $15, including all necessary equipment and art supplies.
Classes run during the week from Monday, January 15 to Thursday, January 25, with a morning and an afternoon class on each of those days.
Morning sessions, from 10am-12.00 are: Paint a Landscape, Paint an Underwater Scene, Make Pom Pom Kittens, Make Fairy Lanterns, Decorate Photo Frames, Make Mini Monsters, Make Jewellery, Pottery and Make Butterfly Windchimes.
Afternoon sessions, from 1-3pm, are: Make Clay Animals, Create an Abstract Painting, Make Dragons, Draw Dinosaurs, Make Sock Puppets, Make Marbled Paper, Paint a Glittery Fish, Draw Cartoons and Draw Mandalas.
All workshops go for two hours and are conducted in a safe environment.

Hawkesbury Art Gallery also has school holiday art workshops between January 10-19.
These are Make a Clay Monster Planter, Science Scene, Make a Vintage Van, Sugar Skull Printmaking, Make a Mini Model World, and Accordion Book Art.
These are also all $15 including all materials and children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
