YOU’VE got until 5pm on Friday, December 15 to drop in presents for this year’s Mayoral Christmas Appeal, to ensure everyone in the Hawkesbury has a happy Christmas Day.
“Hawkesbury residents have rallied together to provide hundreds and hundreds of gifts over the years, to help those who struggle at Christmas time,” Mayor Mary Lyons-Buckett said, also praising the police for their separate efforts.
Gifts can be left for children and adults of all ages at Council’s chambers in George Street, Windsor, Hawkesbury Central Library at Windsor and Richmond branch library in West Market Street.
Gift tags are available at these points or you can make your own. The presents will then be distributed by Richmond Rotary to the families that need them.
