Windsor Country Village celebrated it’s 30th anniversary this year, marking the special occasion with a party recently.
More than 100 attendees gathered to celebrate the occasion including residents, village support staff and invited dignitaries.
Peter Fuller from Windsor Country Village said residents shared fond memories of the last three decades.
“It was obvious that many strong friendships had developed among this group of people, most of whom started simply as neighbours,” Mr Fuller said.
“Recalling the early days when our ‘Pioneers’ moved into the first homes. More recent residents have easily joined our collegiate community.
“Past residents were remembered fondly, and many stories were recounted on the night.
“There was a real sense of pride and community spirit as we enjoyed our special celebration.”
The village community supported by the residents committee planned and organised every detail of the black and white themed night with place settings and table decorations crafted by skilled residents during our monthly craft days.
Many residents got involved in setting up the community centre ready for the nights party, which was a buzz of happy activity in the lead up to the event.
Staff have thanked Dominic Perrottet’s representative Robyn Preston and Hawkesbury councillor Nathan Zamprogno along with Philip Edmonds and Iveta Kecskesova from the village’s strata management company, do attending the event.
