A RAAF parachutist on a training exercise hit the ground at between 20-30km/h on Wednesday afternoon at Cornwallis.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said they received the call out at 5.20pm on Wednesday, November 22. Due to his fall the paramedics treated him for suspected pelvic, spinal, chest and neck injuries.
He was taken by ambulance to Westmead Hospital.
Defence media confirmed his injuries were not life threatening.
“Defence’s primary concern at this time is to provide care for the member, his family and colleagues,” a spokesperson said, while declining to release further details.
