A line of storms has ripped through the Goldfields city of Kalgoorlie-Boulder felling trees, bringing down power poles and flooding the streets.
The sudden storms brought strong winds - one gust as high as 107 kilometres per hour was recorded at the airport - with hail and 12mm of rain causing damage to properties across the city.
The Bureau of Meteorology said the conditions should ease soon, and locals are now cleaning up the mess.

A severe thunderstorm warning remains for the Goldfields, South East Coastal, parts of the Eucla, Central Wheat Belt and Great Southern..
