THE state government has launched a jobs-board style volunteering website.

The website, called NSW Volunteering, will allow people to advertise that they are looking for volunteers, while anyone looking to volunteer can find opportunities in their area.

“Volunteers are the lifeblood of our community. The more people who volunteer locally, the stronger we are together as a community,” Member for Hawkesbury Dominic Perrottet said.

“We know that people who volunteer enjoy better job opportunities and mental health outcomes, and feel more connected to their community.”
