Skaters and residents are invited to have their say to Blacktown Council about the new Riverstone Skate Park.
The council has secured a $400,000 grant from the Federal government to deliver the new attraction.
Mayor Stephen Bali said four new skate parks needed to service the community as it grows from 350,000 to 522,000 people by 2036.
“We want to provide the amenities this growing community needs,” Cr Bali said.
“We want to hear from you. Your feedback is important so that we can deliver a facility council, the community and the users will be proud of.”
All comments will be provided to a specialist skate park designer, CONVIC.
“They will work on a closer consultation with the community to bring a much-needed skate park and social space to the Riverstone community,” Cr Bali said.
Submissions close on Sunday, November 19.
