It’s crunch time in the World Polo Championship.
The event has been one of the biggest ever in the Hawkesbury with jousting, show jumping, rodeo, sheep dog herding, dressage, vaulting, pony club and an art show.
The final is set to be played between 3 and 5pm on Sunday, October 29.
Tickets
General admission is the cheapest way to attend the event, with tickets starting at $50 for a single day’s entry for an adult. Concession tickets are $35, while children under 15 are free.
Tickets to the ‘Hawkesbury HQ’ start at $90. The Hawkesbury HQ will be a marquee, with entrance restricted to Hawkesbury residents.
Going to the polo
For those from the Hawkesbury attending, there is on-site parking at the Sydney Polo Club grounds.
The best way is to take Windsor Street or Francis Street, past Pughs Lagoon and turn right onto Old Kurrajong Road. Please avoid turning off Bells Line of Road (Kurrajong Road).
There will be shuttle buses every 15 minutes from the Richmond Train Station to and from the event. The shuttle costs $5.
