St Marys’ Trick or Treat Trail is back next weekend.
Free lollies, entertainment and prizes are set to keep the whole family happy as Queen Street turns spooky for Halloween.
The popular family event returns to Coachman’s Park on Saturday, October 28, from 10am-2pm.
There will be about 40 stops on this year’s trail.
Several businesses along Queen Street are already embracing the Halloween spirit, decorating their shopfronts with pumpkins, spider webs and ghouls.
“Last year’s Halloween event was an extremely successful for St Marys Town Centre with numbers tipping just over 1200 children registering to participate in the day,” St Marys Town Centre chairman Alex Karavas said.
“It was fantastic to see so many people of all ages dress up and parade along the street in their amazing costumes.
“Business owners saw a lot of new faces coming through their doors.
“It’s great to see this kind of community support, not to mention people attending this event from outside of the area.”
The free event will also offer airbrush tattoos, balloon benders, a jumping castle and characters for the kids to meet, including Marshall from Nick Jr.’s PAW Patrol.
Traffic controllers will patrol the streets to ensure children can cross safely.
Entrants are encouraged to bring their A-game on the costume front, with the fancy dress parade sure to be a highlight.
Prizes will be awarded to those judged best-dressed on the day.
