The Wisemans Ferry community is getting behind the life saving service, CareFlight, with a fundraising event in November.
On Friday, November 10, the residents and businesses of the local community are organising the Wisemans Ferry Police and Citizens Charity Auction Golf and Bowls Day.
All proceeds of the day go to CareFlight, who have saved over 10 people in the Wisemans Ferry area in the last two years.
The event starts with breakfast from 7am at the Wisemans Ferry Bowling Club, followed by nine holes of golf at the Retreat Wisemans Ferry.
For those interested the event then heads back to the bowling club for barefoot bowls, followed by lunch. At 1.00 pm, the charity auction starts at the bowling club, with lots of great items on offer.
For a ticket to take part in these activities is $50 and you can also buy a raffle ticket to win a Polaris Outlaw 50 quad bike.
