A man will front court on a number of charges after he was found to be shooting a pistol unlicensed and under the influence last week.
On the evening of Wednesday, October 11, Windsor Police responded to reports of shots being fired from a property in the Oakville area.
The investigation led Police to an Oakville property where they spoke with a 50 year old male resident of the address. Inquiries led to a number of firearms and ammunition being seized and returned to the Windsor Police Station.
Action has since been taken against the male in relation to the following offences, 'use unauthorised pistol', 'handle/use firearm under the influence of alcohol' and two counts of 'holder of a category A or B licence not have approved storage'.
The male will now be required to attend Windsor Local Court in December to face the charges.
