Bid on Chip Foose renderings - proceeds go to Feel the Magic

TWO original Chip Foose renderings of two of the last iconic muscle cars in Australia are up for auction, and all money raised will go to Hawkesbury charity Feel The Magic.

Run by Pitt Town couple James and Kristy Thomas, Feel the Magic is a not-for-profit organisation providing grief education and support programs for children.

The two renderings up for auction depict the Ford Falcon XR-8 Sprint and Holden Commodore SS.

The auction finishes on Monday, October 16 at 5pm.

The auction’s timing coincides with Chip Foose’s recent visit to Australia representing 3M Automotive, as well as the end of an era for car manufacturing in the country.

Chip Foose is a leading custom car designer and builder, and is a star of the automotive show Overhaulin’.

His career highlights include being the youngest inductee into the US Hot Rod Hall of fame at age 31, as well as taking-out three ‘Ridler’ awards for cars he designed and fabricated. He was also selected by John Lasseter of Pixar to contribute paint schemes and graphic treatments to certain characters for the movie ‘Cars’.

The Feel the Magic foundation will use the proceeds from the auctions to run their Camp Magic camps, which are dedicated to supporting children who have lost a parent, sibling or legal guardian.
