A man was caught with nearly two grams of methamphetamine during a search in Baulkham Hills.
Police said officers were patrolling Oakland Avenue when they saw two vehicles parked at about 3am on Wednesday, October 4.
After speaking to two men, they searched a Gordon man, 32, and discovered 1.9 milligrams of the drug in a brown paper bag.
The man admitted to buying and possessing the drug before he was taken to Castle Hill police station.
He was charged with possess prohibited drug and will appear in Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday, October 25.
Second offence drink driver
A man will face court after he was caught drink driving for the second time in West Pennant Hills.
It will be alleged the Castle Hill man, 60, was driving on Taylor Street when he lost control of his car and crashed into a parked car.
Police were called and a roadside breath test returned a positive reading.
The man was taken to Caslte Hill police station, where further breath analysis returned a reading of 0.135.
His licence was suspended on the spot and he was issued with a field court attendance notice for mid-range drink driving. He is due to appear in Parramatta Local Court on November 22.
Driver crashes into barrier
A woman will face court after she was caught drink driving in Bella Vista.
The Quakers Hill woman, 22, was driving on Windsor Road when she lost control of her car and crashed into a barrier at about 9.30pm on Wednesday, October 4.
Police were called and the woman returned a positive reading for a roadside breath test. She was taken to Castle Hill police station for further breath analysis, which revealed a reading of 0.154.
The woman was charged with high range drink driving and her licence was suspended. She is due to appear in Parramatta Local Court on November 1.
Thieves steal water meters
Two water meters, estimated to be worth $3000, have been stolen in Rouse Hill.
It is believed the Withers Road theft took place between 12 on October 2 and 10am on October 4.
