Chase ends in smashed car window through Quakers Hill.

Police smashed a car window to end a car chase through Quakers Hill.

The pursuit started at 7.25pm on October 3 when the driver of a BMW sedan allegedly failed to stop for police on Tallagandra Drive.

The pursuit continued through Quakers Hill until the car eventually stopped at the intersection of Richmond Road and Woodcroft Drive.

Police smashed a window to remove the keys and arrested the driver, a 40-year-old man.

He was charged with police pursuit (Skye’s Law) and exceeding the speed limit.

He was refused bail and appeared at Blacktown Local Court on Wednesday, October 4.

Man fined in licenced venue

A man has been fined after he refused to leave a licenced premises in Rouse Hill. 

Police said the man, 22, was drinking at the Windsor Road venue when he was approached by security and asked to leave due to the level of his intoxication. 

The man would not leave the venue and attempted to run away from security before being escorted to the exit. 

Police were called and the man was given a fail to leave premise when required and $550 fine. 

Driver crashes into barrier

A Quakers Hill woman will face court after she was caught drink driving in Bella Vista.

The woman, 22, was driving on Windsor Road when she lost control of her car and crashed into a barrier at about 9.30pm on Wednesday, October 4. 

Police were called and the woman returned a positive reading for a roadside breath test. 

She was taken to Castle Hill police station for further breath analysis, which revealed a reading of 0.154. 

The woman was charged with high range drink driving and her licence was suspended. 

She is due to appear in Parramatta Local Court on November 1. 

Thieves steal water meters

Two water meters, estimated to be worth $3000, have been stolen in Rouse Hill.

It is believed the Withers Road theft took place some time between 12 on October 2 and 10am on October 4.
