Police pursuit through Quakers Hill

Police smashed a car window to end a car chase through Quakers Hill on Tuesday night.

The pursuit started at 7.25pm on October 3 when the driver of a BMW sedan allegedly failed to stop for police on Tallagandra Drive.

The pursuit continued through Quakers Hill until the car eventually stopped at the intersection of Richmond Road and Woodcroft Drive.

Police smashed a window to remove the keys and arrested the driver, a 40-year-old man.

He was charged with police pursuit (Skye’s Law) and exceeding the speed limit, and was refused bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court on Wednesday.
