A man has been fined for drinking a plastic cup of red wine while driving at Marsden Park on Monday night.
At 9:58pm on Monday, September 25, Police attached to Quakers Hill Highway Patrol stopped a Toyota Camry on Richmond Road Marsden Park at a stationary breath testing site.
Upon stopping the vehicle, Police observed an amount of red wine and an empty plastic cup at the feet of the driver. The driver admitted to drinking the red wine whilst driving.
He was breath tested and returned a result under the legal limit applicable to his class of licence.
The driver was issued with a traffic infringement notice for the offence of "driver consume alcohol while driving" - $330 and 3 demerit points.
