Hawkesbury Aussie Race Car driver Blake Sciberras enjoyed a mixed weekend at the Sydney Motorsport Park, picking up two podiums and a fourth-place.
Sciberras entered the round in third place of the championship. He is also competing in the V8 Ute race series, and entered the round in fourth.
On Saturday, Sciberras started the first race from sixth. The race was interrupted by a safety car which resulted in several race laps behind the safety car and Blake managed a seventh-place finish.
On Sunday, Sciberras was in fourth place after the first lap of the second race and maintained that position for the duration of the event. He was promoted to third place after another driver received a time penalty.
From a reverse grid, Sciberras started the third race from 12th and he finished the safety car-shortened race in fourth place.
In the final race of the weekend, Sciberras started from fourth and on the first lap made his way into third. After a safety car restart, he was out muscled and pushed back to fourth, managing to finish third.
