HAWKESBURY Ag College finished off its regular season strongly with a victory, while Hawkesbury Valley lost in its final match of 2017.
In NSW Suburban Rugby Union’s second division, Ag College took down Hills in first grade action, winning 40-21.
In second grade, Ag College was just defeated, going down 15-14. Third grade saw a wider margin as Ag College went down 26-5, while fourth grade lost 38-17.
Ag College’s first grade team qualified for the finals after finishing second and will take on minor premiers Hunters Hill on Saturday at David Phillips Field from 3.15pm.
Meanwhile in third division, Hawkesbury Valley was soundly defeated by Epping.
The first-placed team won 46-12 against Valley, which finished in seventh place.
In second grade, Valley also lost, going down 42-26. It was a sad story for third grade, who were flogged 75-12. In the Colts Epping won 19-5.
